Want a school and summer music programs where you get to play with all-star musicians? Los Angeles College of Music (LACM) has got them! The summer music programs are all a part of LACM’s Summer Xperience. It offers sessions in music performance, music production, Drummers Reality Camp, and songwriting. Right now, LACM is enrolling in both Summer Xperience and the Fall session of the Songwriting Program.

Songwriting majors at LACM will graduate armed with a solid catalog of competitive material along with a network of music and entertainment professionals to further their career goals and to compete in today’s increasing competitive environment. Succeeding as a songwriter in this present era is becoming difficult. However, under the teachings of Art Alexakis, students will acquire a firm grasp of the ins and outs of writing art, gain experience in developing their original compositions from start to finish, and simultaneously tailor their music to pitch to reputable artists.
